Most Prestigious National Championship Ever!

The Trinidad & Tobago Volleyball Federation will be opening the National Volleyball Championships on the 24th of September 2007 at the University of the West Indies Sport and Physical Education Centre on UWI St Augustine campus for 3pm. The tournament will have 10 divisions all completing for part of the $140,000.00 in cash and prizes. The Opening is Expected to by very colourful and well attended, there will be pan, chutney and soca artiste performing.

SPIKEDOWN 5 - 2007

(MAY 18, 2007) The 2007 International SPIKEDOWN Beach Volleyball Tournament will be held at Saith Park Beach Volleyball Facility, Chaguanas Trinidad W.I.

The tournament will take place from the 25th - 29th May, 2007.

Participating countries include; Costa Rica, Canada, Puerto Rico, Dominican Republic, Cuba, Martinique, Barbados, St. Vincent & the Grenadines, Trinidad & Tobago, United States and Guatemala.

Southern United Men & SEPOS Bronze Double Header

(Nov 25, 2006) The Division I female and male 3rd & 4th place playoff for the 2006 National League took place in Tacarigua at 4:00pm and 6:00pm respectively. Both Southern United & SEPOS women and men's teams contested the bronze medal.

SEPOS women easily took three straingh sets agains the Division I newest team (25-8) (25-10) (25-8). Southern United vs SEPOS game went to five sets with the southern team coming from a defaulted set down to win against the national team captain, Nolan Tash, lead team (0-25) (25-22) (21-25) (15-12).

T&T National Teams Attain Caribbean Glory

(Aug 20, 2006) Our Senior National Women and Senior National Men have returned with their best ever performance, in the eleven year history of the Caribbean Volleyball Championships.

Our Women and Men placed 1st and 2nd respectively, in the Caribbean Championships Finals held on the 27th August, 2006 in Nassau, Bahamas.

In this history making finals both teams played against the favourites, Barbados. Trinidad & Tobago also captured three (3) individual awards (see below).

Scores for the Men's Final (TRI vs BAR) were (22:25, 23:25, 23:25). The scores for the Women Final (TRI vs BAR) were (25:17, 25:12, 22:25, 23:25, 15:12).
